Wouldn't it be great to be the person responsible for creating some sort of iconic lasting image, a painting of someone great that goes down in history? Well we can't all be Shepherd Fairey, but apparently a lot of us do have a love of President Obama that can and must be translated into the visual arts. Something tells me that none of these artists are going to be sued by the AP, thankfully, but the work is definitely worth a look. Some of them are very well done, some if them, like our little friend down here, are just plain weird.
